The wings on either side make it very stable for day time use for the heavy flow. the width of the wings is approximately 7 inches all the way across. From woman to woman: I have collected beautiful red clothes through the years, nice and big, that I use during my heavy flow at night. It is comforting to have a big piece of cloth that I can adjust through the night. I then soak my pads and cloth in cold water (and if there are big stains, hydrogen peroxide works wonders), use the sacred water for the garden and throw it all in with my white wash. always feel free to convo me, woman empowerment is one of my favorite subjects!
